DomiBot stores as little as it can get away with. This page lists everything it keeps, why it keeps it, and how to get rid of it. If something here does not match what the bot actually does, treat that as a bug and tell us.

What is stored

When you use the bot or sign in to the website:

Your Discord user ID, username and avatar. Needed to show who queued a track and to know which playlists are yours.
Server IDs, names and icons for servers the bot is in, so the dashboard can list them.
Server settings you choose: starting volume, DJ role, voice channel, vote threshold.
Playlists you create, and the track details in them: title, artist, length, cover art and a link.
Play history: which track played in which server, who queued it, and when. This is what the charts and “recently played” are built from.

What is not stored

Message content. The bot has no message intent and cannot read your chat.
Voice audio. Nothing is recorded, and nothing is transcribed.
Email addresses. Sign-in asks Discord only for your identity and server list.
Payment details. There is nothing to pay for.
Anything from servers the bot is not in.

How long it is kept

Play history is deleted after 90 days, automatically and every day.

Playlists, settings and your profile details are kept until you delete them or ask us to. Removing the bot from a server keeps that server’s settings and playlists, so re-inviting it picks up where you left off. Say the word and they go instead.

Who it is shared with

Nobody. Your data is not sold, rented, or handed to advertisers, and there is no analytics or tracking on this site.

To play music the bot sends your search terms and links to its audio provider, which is necessary to find the track and nothing more. Signing in goes through Discord.

Where it lives

On a single rented server in the EU, in a database that is not reachable from the internet. Access is limited to the person who runs DomiBot.

Seeing and deleting your data

Both are self-service, and neither needs anyone’s help:

/privacy data shows everything stored about you: your profile, your playlists, and how much play history exists.
/privacy delete erases all of it after a confirmation. It cannot be undone.
/playlist delete removes a single playlist.

Deleting your data does not remove a server’s settings, because those belong to the server rather than to whoever set them. A server admin can change or clear those from the dashboard.

Under GDPR you can also object to your data being held at all, or ask for it in a portable form. Ask and it will be handled.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected, the date at the top changes with it.
